Aileena is an international development professional with 6+ years of experience working for international nonprofits, the private sector, and in philanthropic advising. Aileena has worked, lived, or studied in Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Peru, and Washington, DC. Her previous work experiences include working in HIV/AIDS prevention and impact communications at (RED), philanthropic advising at Geneva Global, and business development, proposal writing, and bid management for USAID contracts at Dexis Consulting Group.

In her free time, Aileena enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and trying new global cuisine (Laotian is her favorite). She splits her time between Brooklyn, New York and her hometown Columbia, South Carolina.
