Eliza Johnson is a senior project manager at Panorama where she manages an international partnership dedicated to mobilizing resources to defeat neglected tropical diseases. In this role, she accelerates resource mobilization and coordination across implementing partners on NTDs, and program and advocacy strategy.
Prior to joining Panorama, Eliza worked at PATH, where she introduced project management and knowledge management tools across the organization, aligning global teams to leadership objectives, strengthening intellectual property collection, and capturing best practices. She also worked at the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, working alongside grantees to design mHealth tools to support community health workers on the front lines of the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Eliza started her global health career at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, helping to bring rigor to strategies around eradicating malaria, TB, HIV, and neglected diseases. Prior to working in global health, Eliza was a key operations partner in a variety of startup and small business ventures.
Eliza has a Bachelors of Arts in Legal, Political, and Economic Studies from the University of Washington, and has conducted field research in Zambia and India. She has completed certifications in international project management, data analysis, data visualization, and research ethics.
Eliza thrives on executing complicated travel plans for her birthday every year, like hiking through the mountain coffee farms in Colombia, riding motorcycles in India, and buying rugs in Turkey.
