Chris Lu is an advisor to Panorama after having served as the deputy secretary of labor during the Obama Administration.
Chris’ 20 years of public service spans all three branches of the federal government. During the first term of the Obama Administration, Chris served as White House cabinet secretary, where he was President Obama’s primary liaison to the federal agencies.
Prior to his time in the executive branch, Chris worked for then-Senator Obama as his legislative director and as executive director of the Obama-Biden presidential transition. Chris’ government experience includes eight years as deputy chief counsel of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. He began his federal service as a law clerk for Judge Robert E. Cowen on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Chris is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. He serves on the boards of the American Sustainable Business Council and AAPI Progressive Action.
