Nicole Travis is the HR Generalist at Panorama. Supporting both the Global and Strategy teams, she oversees recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits management, performance evaluations, employee engagement, and leadership training and development.
Nicole’s background is diversified across HR, operations, and project/program management with specialized skills in building teams, process improvement, and culture management. She has previously led undergraduate and post-doctoral training programs at the Surgical Outcomes Research Center at the University of Washington and managed internal operations and HR at a boutique commercial real estate firm.
Nicole serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Families of Color Seattle (FOCS), a mother-of-color led non-profit that equips parents and educators with tools to talk with children about identity, racism, inclusion and equity, and trauma-informed practices. FOCS specializes in building community dialogues through parent programs and workshops and provides anti-bias education consulting to schools and organizations. She also serves as the Head of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism Committee at her daughter’s independent school in West Seattle.
Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington, her Applied Associates of Arts & Sciences degree in Digital Audio Engineering, and studied Music, Theatre, and Entertainment Management at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. She was previously active in the Seattle music scene as a promoter and band manager. In her free time, Nicole loves being on the water in her kayak, listening to music, advocating for social justice, and participating in obstacle course races with her husband. She loves to combine travel and racing and looks forward to completing her 3rd Spartan Trifecta once races resume.
