Sarah Rix plays a central role on the Partnerships and Communications teams by supporting the ongoing effort to build and strengthen Panorama’s relationships with diverse partners in our mission and vision for social impact. She began her work at Panorama as Executive Assistant to the CEO where she served as an integral part of the business operations team. Threading her broad background in customer service, sales, and consulting, Sarah forges strong business relationships, simplifies complexities, and directs projects over the finish line.
Prior to joining Panorama, Sarah gained experience in the non-profit world while at PATH, located in Seattle, where she supported leaders with engagements in 20 countries and interfaced with program staff and policy experts within and outside of the organization. While at WE Communications, she supported multiple senior executives by managing complex calendars and coordinating high-stakes meetings with business and development leaders. She started her career at Intellectual Ventures, coordinating all logistics and information sharing for a lead scientist and a large group of intellectual property paralegals.
Sarah studied communications, business, and media at North Seattle College. She devotes her time to numerous volunteer positions, such as serving as an interpreter at the Seattle Aquarium.
In her free time, Sarah loves to swim and go on road trips. She has a great fondness of the ocean and has participated in Washington State beach clean-ups every year since 2011.
