Naomi Komuro is a senior project manager of the Ascend Fund at Panorama. In her role, she supports Panorama’s grant-making and research efforts to address gender inequality in the U.S. political system. Naomi also implements and refines organizational systems that ensure maximum efficiency and efficacy of Panorama’s important work.
Prior to joining Panorama, Naomi worked on the fund development team at Child Care Resources, where she implemented policy and procedural systems related to organizational branding and communications best practices. Before moving to Seattle, Naomi honed her skills in event management, volunteer management, and communications while working in development for a homeless services agency in Los Angeles.
Naomi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from University of California, Santa Barbara and studied at Institute d’Etudes Politiques in Lyon. She continues to cultivate her fundraising and event planning skills, as well as stoke her interest in global affairs as a board member of the Young Professionals International Network, a World Affairs Council of Seattle entity.
Naomi thrives during Pacific Northwest summers, when she summits mountains, swims in lakes, and chases the 15 hours of sunshine from any rooftop or patch of grass in the city.
