Josh Burgner is the Senior Manager, Compliance within the Grants, Contracts & Compliance department. In this role he leads compliance reviews and opportunity assessments and spearheads the evaluation of new and ongoing programs, partnerships, and fiscally sponsored projects. Josh’s expertise is instrumental in shaping organizational policies and compliance strategies, as well as overseeing the transition of fiscal sponsorship transfers.
With 8 years of experience in fiscal sponsorship, Josh has been a cornerstone in the development of a fiscal sponsorship practice in San Diego, nurturing it from its early stages to a robust, nationwide operation. His leadership and strategic vision have been key to this growth, reflecting his deep commitment to the field.
Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Development from Point Loma Nazarene University and maintains a deeply rooted desire to help empower others to reach their fullest potential.
Outside of his professional life, Josh is an avid culinary enthusiast, often found cooking or barbecuing. He cherishes time spent at the beach, exploring new cuisines, and making memories with his wife and daughter in the San Diego sunshine.
