Trisha Comsti

Program Officer

Trisha is a program officer at Panorama. In this role, she conducts strategic planning and project management for multiple initiatives ranging from global nutrition to paid family leave research in the U.S. She also manages Panorama’s philanthropic funds, including The Ebola Fund, which enables philanthropists and individual donors to directly support the response to Ebola outbreaks. Trisha takes an analytic approach to her work, while also acknowledging that diverse perspectives and creative tactics are essential to solve today’s most pressing global challenges.

In previous roles, Trisha provided strategic, policy, and communications expertise to non-governmental organizations, multilateral organizations, research institutions, and U.S. government agencies. Her experience spans development issues, including malaria, HIV/AIDS, non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, human rights, and nutrition.

Prior to joining Panorama, Trisha was a program officer and project manager and focused on HIV/AIDS and international cancer research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She was also a research analyst contributing to the launch of RTI International’s new global non-communicable diseases initiative. In Washington DC, she led health communications projects as deputy director at Palladian Partners and conducted advocacy work on behalf of the United Nations World Food Programme’s nutrition and emergency food aid initiatives.

Trisha earned her Master of Public Health from Tulane University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Virginia.

Trisha moved to the Puget Sound area for its many outdoor adventuring opportunities. She and her family can often be found hiking, camping, backpacking, or snowboarding.
