Naomi Komuro is a nonprofit professional who believes the right combination of perfectionism and flexibility foster effective teams and impact work. Prior to joining Panorama’s operations team, Naomi worked on the fund development team of Child Care Resources, where she implemented a number of policy and procedural systems related to organizational branding and communications best practices. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, Naomi worked in the finance department at Ascencia, a homeless services agency in Los Angeles. Naomi soon applied for an open fundraising role at the organization, and began honing her skills in event management, volunteer management, and communications.
Naomi earned a bachelor of arts degree in Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2012, concluding her undergraduate career abroad in Lyon, France. She continues to cultivate her fundraising and event planning skills as a board member of the Young Professionals International Network, a group of the World Affairs Council of Seattle.
