Eliza Johnson is a project manager who believes optimism and an open mind are key elements for collaborating across diverse perspectives. Her focus is on identifying the details required to achieve visionary ideas.
Eliza has thrived in start-up organizations with diverse stakeholders and mission-driven leadership. To meet the needs of her teams, she has pursued specialized training in data analysis, data visualization, research ethics, and international development project management. She enjoys designing new projects and keeping teams focused on managing results.
Prior to joining Panorama, Eliza worked at PATH, where she launched the Office of Scientific Affairs at PATH’s global offices, enabling the organization’s human subjects research to consistently meet a high bar of scientific integrity. She also helped assess Ebola programs for the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, working alongside grantees to design tools to support community health workers on the front lines of the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa. At the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Eliza brought rigor to strategies around eradicating malaria, TB, HIV, and neglected diseases.
Eliza has a bachelor of arts in legal, political, and economic studies from the University of Washington, and has conducted field research in Zambia and India.
